Zikomo's overarching purpose is to try and break the perpetual poverty trap in southern Malawi by assisting communities get on the first rung on the ladder of economic development and be able to support themselves and their families without the need for humanitarian aid.

Previously an Irish registered charity (CHY16516), Zikomo is now managed entirely by the voluntary Board of Managed in Malawi
