Looking for a laptop

We were wondering would there be any company or individual out there that is upgrading their laptop(s) and would like to put there old one to good use. In line with our minimum adminstration cost policy our Malawian employee, Alice Sovereign Chisi, has been writing and emailing us her field reports from internet cafes.

This is cheap way of doing office work without the office. However, sometimes blackouts have occured when Alice is writing a report and her work has been lost.  This is clearly not efficient. She has requested a simple word processor so that she can type a document at home or in the field, save it to a memory key and then send it when she gets to an internet connecton.

We realise that companies and individuals alike will probably be cutting back on upgrades nowadays but just in case there is anyone out there who would like to see there old machine doing some good work please get in contact with us. It would be a huge help!
