Community resource centres have proven to be a major source of economic development in villages around southern Africa.
The centres are used for:
- Income generating activies
- Orphan care
- Pre-schooling
- Adult literacy classes
- Community library
- Basic health care provision
- Village meetings and social gatherings

The constrcution of the Nakutepa resource centre was completed in May 2008 and the contruction of the Matande resource centre is expected to be finished in may of this year.
